Logo Color Changer
Drop in an SVG logo, pick black, white or any hex value, and download the recoloured file. It happens in your browser — the logo never leaves your machine.
About this tool
Every shape in the SVG gets its fill and stroke overridden with the colour you choose, while anything explicitly set to none stays transparent. That means a logo with a knocked-out counter or a transparent background keeps it.
The file is parsed and re-serialised locally. Scripts, embedded foreign objects and inline event handlers are stripped before the preview renders, so pasting in an SVG from an unfamiliar source is safe.
Everything runs in your browser — nothing you enter here is sent to a server or stored. Provided as is, without warranty.
Why you need a one-colour version of your logo
Sooner or later someone asks for your logo “in white”. A partner is putting you on a dark slide, a conference wants it for a sponsor wall, a customer is printing it single-colour on merchandise. If you only have the full-colour original, that request turns into a design ticket every time.
A proper brand kit therefore carries at least three variants: the full-colour mark, a solid black version for light backgrounds, and a solid white one for dark backgrounds. Keep all three as SVG. Vector files scale to a billboard or a favicon without softening, and unlike a PNG they can be recoloured later without going back to the source file.
One caveat worth knowing: recolouring flattens whatever distinctions colour was carrying. If two shapes in your mark only read as separate because one is teal and the other navy, they will merge into a single silhouette once both are black. Check the preview at small sizes — if the mark stops being legible, the logo needs a dedicated single-colour drawing rather than an automatic conversion.
If you are assembling a brand kit from scratch, the colour palette generator will help you settle the rest of the scheme, and the WCAG contrast checker will tell you whether your brand colours are actually readable as text.
