When converting a PDF to PowerPoint helps

- Will the text in the PowerPoint be editable?
- No. Each PDF page is placed on its slide as a high-resolution image, so the slides look exactly like the PDF but the text cannot be edited or re-flowed. You can still add your own text boxes, shapes, notes and animations on top of each slide.
- What slide size will the deck use?
- The slide size matches the first page of the PDF, so an A4 PDF produces A4-shaped slides and a 16:9 PDF produces widescreen slides. Pages of a different size later in the document are centred on the slide with their aspect ratio preserved.
- Can I open the result in Google Slides or Keynote?
- Yes. The output is a standard .pptx file, which PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote and LibreOffice Impress all open natively.
- How many pages can I convert?
- There is no page limit, and PDFs up to 100 MB are accepted. Long documents take longer because every page is rendered on your own device.
- Does it work with scanned PDFs?
- Yes. Scanned pages convert just as well as digital ones, since every page is rendered as an image either way. There is no OCR step, so the text will not become searchable.
